Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a hemispherical basin with ribbed pattern inside and out, raised on a circular base. The Encicopedia… (ibib.) notes its Romanesque design but suggests it may date from the mid-13th century, one of the phases of construction of this building [="A los pies de la nave, bajo ar co abierto en el muro meridional, se conserva una pila bautismal de traza románica, con copa semiesférica de 103 cm de diámetro sobre tenante cilíndrico, con 79 cm de altura total. Se decora exteriormente la copa con finos gallones, mientras que al interior es avenerada.
