Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a monolithic font with a hemispherical basin decorated with concave ribbed pattern, on a cylindrical pedestal base, dated probably to the 16th century; the upper rim has ball and rosette motifs, and with a re-carving of a shield charged with a raised cross; two metal staples from an old cover at opposite ends of the upper rim. [NB: the church fabric goes back to the medieval period but we have no information on the earlier font here].
