Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font made of porous limestone, probably of the Romanesque period; it consists of a square-to-octagonal basin with moulded angles, raised on a short cylindrical upper base, and a square lower base with two chamfered angles, which this source suggests were cut a a later date; the inner well of the basin is also square. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 27 January 2021] reports: "la pila es cuadrada con pie circular". There is a stone holy-water stoup by the south entranceway, probably medieval as well.
