Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font consisting of a plain hemispherical basin on a very short base decorated with four grotesque heads at the angles. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed December 2022] describes this font in similar notes: "La pila es románica, lisa, con molduras en borde y pie cuadrado con modillón circular con cuatro cabezas."
