The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 22 January 2021] notes: "la iglesia que ahora sirve de parroquia está dedicada a San Esteban, protomártir, y es de estilo gótico tardío [...] la pila es rústica, de copa lisa con base cónica." The illustration of the interior of this church in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) shows an old font on the south side, towards the west end of the nave; the font appears monolithic and plain, with a rounded basin and a splaying pedestal base.
