Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a Romanesque baptismal font consisting of a hemispherical basin decorated with a broad ribbed pattern on the outside, a moulding at the upper rim and another at the bottom of the underbowl; raised on a circular base that ends below in a thick moulding and varied motifs (?) [claws, according to the Enciclopedia] at 90-degree angles. The present font cover is modern; the upper rim of the basin retains a pair of old metal staples. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 14 January 2022] notes: "iglesia dedicada a San Martín, obispo, renacentista [...] La pila es románica con borde moldurado y un amago de gallones y pie cilíndrico".
