The Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) notes a baptismal font of Romanesque appearance, perhaps from the old monastic church that became the later parish church; the font consists of a hemispherical basin decorated with a moulding at the upper rim, and broad ribs at the sides, a moulding where the basin meets the plain cylindrical stem. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 15 April 2022] notes on this font: "La pila de Santa Cruz es románica con gallones y base cilíndrica".
