The Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ), in its entry for the village of 'San Martín de Humada' describes and illustrates a Romanesque, early-to-mid-13th century baptismal font that is different from the one in its entry for the village of 'Humada' [cf. Index for Humada], even though in both cases the church is named as "Iglesia de San Martín Obispo" [NB: it appears that the mention of San Martin in the Humada entry is a mistake, as the parish church there is dedicated to San Miguel; the confusion is further complicated by Madoz, whose dictionary misnames this church as San Miguel]; this font, in the village of San Martín de Humada, has a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with broad ribs topped with round arch-heads; it is raised on a moulded stem and quadrangular lower base or plinth, part of which is broken off. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 23 December 2021] notes: "iglesia, dedicada a San Martín, obispo, gótica [...] La pila es románica con gallones poco profundos, pie cilíndrico y base cuadrada".
