Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font probably of the Gothic period, the hemispherical basin decorated with ribbed pattern and upper band of arch-heads [="a los pies de la nave se conserva una pila bautismal de forma semiesférica con decoración de gallones rematados con arquillos, de talla y factura probablemente góticas"]. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 25 April 2022] notes: "La iglesia que sigue en uso está dedicada a San Andrés, apóstol, y es románica en la cabecera [...] El ábside es románico [...] Hay varios capiteles románicos dispersos [...] La portada es gótica [...] La pila es románica con gallones y borde en dientes de sierra y pie cilíndrico".
