Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a hemispherical basin of the Romanesque period consisting of a hemispherical basin decorated with a background of broad ribs on which runs a band of linked-circles interlace; the upper rim has two metal staples from the old cover; the base is a modern replecement. The Enciclopedia… (ibid.) notes that the linked-circles interlace pattern appears on the fonts at Boada de Villadiego, Villahizán de Treviño, La Piedra, Tagarrosa, Ordejón de Abajo and Sandoval de la Reina.
