The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 11 April 2021] notes: "Su iglesia está dedicada a la Asunción de Nuestra Señora y es gótica [...] La pila es gótica con decoración". Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_OLMOS_DE_LA_PICAZA.pdf] [accessed 11 April 2021] as a limestone baptismal font of the Romanesque period, probably of the first half of the 13th century, consisting of a hemispherical; basin decorated with broad ribs on the outside and concave ribbed pattern on the inside; the outer ribs are slightly diagonal; the lower base is moulded ["Románica nos parece la pila bautismal, aunque igualmente de un momento muy avanzado. No cover present.
