The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 13 February 2021] notes: "su iglesia, dedicada a San Vicente, mártir. Es románica en cabecera [...] Su ábside es románico rectangular, con canes con figuras y ventana. La portada es románica con tres arquivoltas con ajedrezado, rosetas, fus-tes y capiteles historiados (repintada). Y la torre es rectangular, sólida, rematada en bolas con dos campanas.La pila es románica con gallones invertidos y avenerada por dentro, con pie cilíndrico y base cuadrada". Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font of possible late-Romanesque design, decorated with concave ribbed pattern on the basin, both inside and out, and with ball motif on the base. No cover present but there are metal staples left in it from an earlier cover.
