Noted in Parker (1855): "Font, P[erpendicular], an octagon, with panelled bowl." Cautley (1982) reports a simple 17th-century font in this church. Font and cover are illustrated in Knott (2008); the font consists of an octagonal basin decorated with cusped panels inscribing alternately blank shileds and floral motifs, between mouldings at the upper rim and the lower basin; the underbowl chamfer has rosettes on the sides; the stem has traceried panels on the sides; the splaying lower base and octagonal plinth appear modern. The wooden cover consists of an octagonal platform with moulded sides on which rise eight thin but broad ribs around a central pivot topped with a knob (?) finial.
