English Heritage [Listing NGR: ST2938352464] (1968) records two fonts; one is "Ribbed C15 octagonal font with foiled niches". The present font consists of an octagonal basin with rounded sides and underbowl, which give it a slightly -tulip-shaped form; it is decorated with a moulding at the upper rim, below which is a band of sixteen floral motifs, two per side; the lower sides and underbowl have a set of deeply-carved trefoil-headed arches or windows; pronounced moulding at the centre ring position; the octagonal stem has pointed windows; the slightly splaying lower base is octagonal and moulded. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat, with metal decoration and ring handle; appears 19th-century.
