Font Notes:
Noted and illustrated in La Iglesia de Curahuara de Carangas (2008). Baptismal font consisting of a hemispherical basin decorated with concave ribbed pattern all around; raised on a circular pedestal base decorated with a double moulding at the top end, the sides fluted, the lower base square and moulded. The wooden font cover is flat and round, modern. The outer surfaces of the font show red, blue, ochre and yellow paint on them. The font is located in the baptistery, a chapel located off west end of the nave, north side; this chapel is covered in mural paintings related to the motif of baptism.
