Described in Pevsner (1958): "Octagonal, Perp[endicular]. Stem with blank arches, bowl with shields, etc., in sexfoils." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin deeply carved with cusped hexafoil panels which include alternately Tudor roses and blank shileds; plain underbowl chamfer with lower moulding, the latter very worn and damaged; the octagonal stem has a trefoil niche or window on each side; moulded octagonal lower base; tiny square plinth. The wooden cover is octagonal and flat with metal knob finial.
