Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font of Romanesque design ["de traza románica"] consisting of a large basin with broad ribbed pattern on the outside, the inside of the basin carved with concave ribs; raised on a moulded lower base, without stem [="En la capilla abierta en el muro meridional de los pies se conserva una pila bautismal de traza románica. Su copa es semiesférica (112 cm de diámetro × 51 cm de altura), interiormente avenerada y al exterior ornada con poco resaltados gallones; apoya sobre tenante cilíndrico y basa con grueso baquetón, de 42 cm de altura." There are two metal staples at opposite ends of the upper rim. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 10 August 2021] notes: "Su iglesia, que está dedicada a San Pedro Apóstol, es renacentista [...] Su ábside es rectangular con contrafuertes. La portada es renacentista, de 1653 [...] La pila de bautismo es románica, avenerada por dentro y por fuera, sencilla". No cover present.
