The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed 30 January 2021] notes: "la pila bautismal es románica, avenerada." Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as a baptismal font of Romanesque design ["de traza románica"] consisting of a large basin with broad ribbed pattern, raised on a squat round stem and a moulded lower base; the upper rim retains the metal staples of the cover. The wooden cover is plain, round and flat, hinged in the middle; appears modern.
