Described and illustrated in Sáenz Rodríguez (2004) as a baptismal font of the 13th century, contemporary with the fabric of the church; the hemispherical basin is badly damaged, with a large chunk missing at the upper rim, opposite to the metal staple from the old cover; it is plain but for a roll moulding on the underbowl; on a square pedestal base. Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en La Rioja (2008) as a baptismal font of the type that could date anywhere from the 13th to the 16th century. No cover present but a matel staple from an old cover remains. Noted and illustrated in Rioja Románica [https://www.riojaromanica.com/categorias/pilas-bautismales#] [accessed 23 November 2020]: "En la iglesia de San Román se encuentra esta pila bautismal que quizá date del siglo XIII, como el propio templo. Mide 90 cm de altura total por 88 cm de diámetro del brocal. De tipología en copa, consta de una base en forma de pilar cuadrangular, un toro y una taza semiesférica."
