Jeboult (1873) notes: "The font is new and of elegant design. It is supported by polished marble pillars. It was presented in 1857 by Mr. H. Davies, of Taunton, who is a native of the parish." [NB: this same source gives the fabric of the church as Early English, but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
