Described and illustrated in Sáenz Rodríguez (2004), who informs the font is from the earlier church, Santa María, that is documented as of the mid-13th century. In the Enciclopedia del románico en La Rioja (2008). Baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a single Latin cross, raised on a round pedestal base with a moulding at the top; this base is now cemented to the basin. The font has been restored and re-tooled. Both sources suggest a date in the 13th century and a pedigree of the Sierra de Cameros workshop, of its latest period.
