Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin the sides of which are decorated with blank shileds inscribed in quatrefoils; the underbowl chamfer has trefoiled arches/windows; the octagonal stem has deeply-carved trefoiled niches over a moulded lower base. Raised on an octagonal plinth. The wooden cover is a gilded octagonal pyramid with a cross finial. [NB: church is ca. 1300, built on the site of an earlier Norman church; upgraded in the 15th century]. Not mentioned in Pevsner (1958).
