Lübke (1870) notes an octagonal font in this church. The entry for this church in the GPS-Wanderatlas [https://www.ich-geh-wandern.de/stadtkirche-friedberg] [accessed 22 July 2023] describes the font as an early-Gothic font on three Romanesque sandstone lions ["frühgotische Taufstein auf drei romanischen Sandsteinlöwen."] The entry for this church in the Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Friedberg [https://kirchengemeinde-friedberg.ekhn.de/startseite/kontakt/gebaeude-und-adressen/stadtkirche.html] [accessed 22 July 2023] reports a baptismal font of stone from the earlier Romanesque church here ["So wurde über einem romanischen Vorgängerbau (aus dem noch Altar und Taufstein stammen) die gotische Hallenkirche errichtet, ein geistliches wie bürgerliches Symbol." The entry for this church in Kulturkirchen [http://kulturkirchen.org/kirchen/53c55c22e7e982b47c0000b4/Stadtkirche Unserer Lieben Frau] [accessed 22 July 2023] notes a baptismal font of stone dating from the second half of the 13th century. The arcade of pointed arches on the octagonal basin suggest an early-Gothic dating but the three lions of the base are in the Romanesque period/style.
