Described in Rowan (2003): "Bishop Pooley's font of 1706, a sixteen-sided alabaster bowl on a circular shaft, on the N[orth] side." The font cover is round and flat, with a carved top. The font is located in a wooden enclosure inside a baptistery or chapel (?) at the north end of the nave.
