The Victoria County History (Northampton, vol. 4, 1937) notes: "The font in use was given in 1886 […] An 18th-century marble font is in the vestry. The ancient font was done away with when the church was newly pewed". Pevsner & Cherry (1973) note also the 18th-century font: "Plain, baluster, small gadrooned bowl." The British Listed Buildings database entry for this church [www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-360375-church-of-st-peter-and-st-paul-moulton] [accessed 29 May 2012] reports: "Font C18, plain baluster with small gadrooned bowl, also C20 stone font."
