Noted and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Castilla y León (2002- ) as part of a group of cognate fonts at: "Lomas de Villamediana, Villamediana de Lomas, Linares de Bricia, Crespos, Quintanilla-Colina y Brullés, [...] Villaescusa de Ebro [now in] San Martín de Elines), Quin[t]anilla de An, Revelillas, Ruijas, Espinosa de Bricia, Repudio y Salcedo." The Enciclopedia… (ibid.) suggests it may have come originally from one of the nearby rural chapels ['ermitas'], perhaps from Carcavos de Santa Lucia. The hemispherical basin has a band of saw-tooth between rope mouldings on the sides; raised on a later-date round pedestal base with mouldings. The font shows evidence of having been restored; the base is a later replacement.
