Baptismal font consisting of a hemispherical basin the sides of which are decorated with a ribbed pattern of 24 concave ribs; there is a row of 14 balls at the underbowl, which appears to be part of the basin block; the stem is cylindrical, with mouldings at both ends. The upper rim has a large repair with new stone insert, which may indicate the presence of metal staples from an old cover. The inner basin has been massacred by a 'creative' plumber by the addition of a false minifont of stone in it, to which has been added a tall chrome spout.
