Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with mouldings at the upper and lower rims; the sides are vertical, one of them decorated with a Maltese cross inscribed in a circle; moulded underbowl chamfer; octagonal stem decorated with quatrefoils (some cusped, others round); moulded lower base, also octagonal. The wooden cover isn octagonal pyramid with a ball finial. The whole is raised on a narrow rectangular plinth with kneeling stone. There is no mention of the font in Pevsner (1952) or in Hoskins (1954) [NB: the original church may have been of the early 14th century].
