There is an entry for [Priors] Hardwick [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey http://domesdaymap.co.uk/place/SP4756/priors-hardwick/] [accessed 12 January 2015], but it mentions neither cleric nor church in it. The Victoria County History (Warwick, vol. 5, 1949) notes: "The building is of early-to mid-13th-century origin, but of this period only the west tower remains. [...] The font has a bowl of flower-pot shape, probably of the 13th century, with a moulded square base." The font is actually a plain tub with tapering finely striated sides; a roll moulding decorates the top of a square lower base with chamfered angles; on a square plinth with chamfered angles. The wooden font cover is round and falt, with metal decoration; probably Victorian.
