According to Pevsner the church has 14th- and 15th-century parts, but there is no mention of the font. Not in Hoskins (1954) either. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: ST0679808108] notes :"Parish church.Tower and chancel late C14 or early C15;the nave possibly incorporates earlier work [...] Font: hexagonal, stone, and probably C15."
