Tub-shaped baptismal font; the roughly cylindrical basin is chamfered at the upper rim and has a rounded underbowl; the upper surface of the chamfer is decorated with saltire-like crosses inscribed in circles; the sides of the basin have a broad two-braid interlace with large medalions-like openings inscribing figures (?) or symbols [only partially visible from the source: could be symbols of the Evangelists alternating with others]; the upper spandrels of the interlace have three-petal flowers; those in the lower spandrels have four-petal rosettes; around the underbowl are fleurs-de-lis; the upper rim shows holes from the old cover hardware. The font appears to be later than claimed in the source [http://www.linternaute.com/musee/diaporama/1/7019/musee-de-normandie/5/31276/cuve-baptismale/] [accessed 16 February 2009]
