Baptismal font of reddish marble consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a short and plain cylindrical stem and a small modern plinth; there is a double band of zigzag work around the front half of the upper basin side; the back of the basin and base have been re-cut at a later date (perhaps in the major renovation carried out in this church in the 16th century?), obviously to fit it into a corner; local information communicated to BSI (e-mail of 15 February 2009) indicates the font had been kept until 1997 in a side chapel, from which location it was moved to its present location in the presbitery, by the main altar.
