Scene Description: the image caption refers to Nordhagen's model of the old cathedral but this image probably represents the building after the Gothic modifications and the later changes that made it into a fortress [Hamarhus], later destroyed by the Swedish troops in the Nordic Seven Years' War (1563-1570)
