Font Notes:
The Victoria County History (Wiltshire, vol. 14, 1991) notes: "Foxley church is undedicated. [...] Its small size suggests that the nave was built in the 12th century or earlier, and a plain 12thcentury font is in the church." The baptismal font consists of a narrow round basin, plain but for a roll moulding at the centre ring position, raised on a plain cylindrical pedestal base. Wooden cover with finial; a gift from "C.R.L. - A friend of the Rector" on the coronation of George V, June 22nd, 1911, as informed by a brass plate on it.
