Noted in Buck (1951) as a group of circular fonts with moulded edges dating from the late 12th or early 13th century in the county of Wiltshire, at Barford St. Martin, Bower Chalke, Burcombe, Chilmark, Codford St. Mary [...], Monkton Deverill, Donhead St. Andrew, Teffont Magna. An inventory of fixtures and fittings report of 21 April 2008 by Michael Drury Architects, Salisbury [http://documents.salisbury.gov.uk/public-planning-application-documents/00238000/00237879_Representation_Letters.pdf] [accessed 18 December 2008] includes: "The font is of stone, the bowl of a simple egg-cup shape set on a drum, perhaps twelfth century, but much tidied up." The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: SU0730431166] notes: "Anglican parish church. Saxon, C13, C15, tower rebuilt 1667, restored 1859 [...] Restored C12 cylindrical stone font in nave."
