Font Notes:
There is an entry for Arlingham [variant spelling] in the Domesday Survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SO7010/arlingham/] [accessed `6 May 2017], but it mentions neither priest nor church in it. A font here is noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Octagonal, the bowl of c. 1850, the stem probably original Dec[orated], with two-light blind tracery on each face. Also an early C18 wooden font, converted in the C19 to an almsbox".
