Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Norman. Cylindrical bowl with a heavy projecting rim, a similar plain band beneath, and a collar or shelf at the bottom between bowl and circular shaft." The wooden cover is low octagonal pyramid with decorated sides and acorn finial.
