Described and illustrated in Buck (1950): "A barrel-shaped 'tub' font, plain and unmounted; it is 30 inches high above the square base, 28 1/2 inches across the top, and as the inner basin is only 10 1/2 inches deep, it is probable that the rim has been cut down." The font is actualley barrel-shaped, and it is lead-lined; it stands on a square plinth with chamfered angles. The wooden cover is plain, round and flat; probably modern.
