The entry for this font in the Museen Burg Altena [https://westfalen.museum-digital.de/pdf/object/136.pdf?lang=en] [accessed 12 July 2023] notes and illustrates a baptismal font of ca. 1300 the parts of which were found in the church garden of the Evangelische Kirche St. Urban und Georg [later St. Johanniskirche], used as a flower bed and planter; the fragments were acquired by the in 1875 and restored to its original shape; the font is roughly cylindrical, its sides decorated with an arcade of twelve arches that house stanfing figures believed to represent the Twelve Apostles; there are angel busts in the spandrels ["Romanischer Taufstein, Stein, um 1300.
