Baptismal font consisting of an old and battered tub-shaped basin with slightly tapering sides that are decorated with a blind arcade of round shallow arches around the upper half; the upper rim sows a rope moulding in some parts, the rest broken off; it is raised on a modern base, curiously of quatrefoil shape [i.e., a cluster of four round columns]; the basin appears to have been left exposed to all weathers and shows erosion damage as well as the damaged rim mentioned above. The presence of large drain holes on the sides of the basin, as shown in GFreihalter's digital photograph of 2 October 2012 [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ediger-Eller_St._Martin_Taufstein_632.JPG] [accessed 22 August 2025] suggests that the font was disused for a time and re-purposed as a garden or farm planter or trough.
