Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Octagonal, a mid-C19 copy of the C15 Perp[endicular] font, with quatrefoil decoration and buttressed stem." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with protruding mouldings at both ends, between which are pairs of octagonal panels on each side; the underbowl chamfer has graded moulding at the upper end, square flowers below; the stem is decorated with traceried panels with buttressed corners. The Minsterworth Parish page notes: "The carved oak cover was the gift of Mrs. Watson-Munro of Hygrove in December 1915". [NB: Verey & Brooks (ibid.) note the re-building of this church by Henry Woodyer in 1869-70; the present font, if not a re-carving of the original, may be a product of that restoration -- we have no information on any earlier fonts in this church]
