Noted in Glynne's 2 April 1867 visit to this church (in Butler, 2007): "The font has a circular bowl, on stem of like form." Butler's (ibid.) annotation of Gynne's notes informs that "the church had its character totally altered in 1874-5 by R. Beevers of Hull. No older features were retained." The National Monuments Record, English Heritage (IoE Number 166559) [http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/Details/Default.aspx?id=166559] [accessed 4 November 2008] does not mention a font in this church.
