Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. C15. Octagonal bowl with quatrefoils with heater-shaped shields." Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with vertical sides decorated with quatrefoil panels with blank shields inscribed, all of the sides framed in round moulding and piping; plain underbowl chamfer; octagonal stem plain but for a moulding at each end; chanfered octagonal lower base. The font cover consists of a flat and plain octagonal platform made of wood, with metal scrolled ribs arranged on top in the Jacobean style.
