Noted in the Church Guide (1991) [http://www.forest-of-dean.net/downloads/Stories_Articles/History_of_Lydbrook.pdf] [accessed 2 November 2008]: "The Font originally stood on the left hand side of the South Porch entrance but during the early part of this century it was moved to the present position on the right hand side at the back of the South Aisle." Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "octagonal font" by Henry Woodyer, ca. 1850-1851. [NB: no record found of an earlier church here]
