Font Notes:
There is an entry for Barwick [in Elmet] in the Domesday survey [http://opendomesday.org/place/SE3937/barwick-in-elmet/] [accessed 23 October 2019]; it reports three preiests and three churches in it. Glynne's visit of 26 April 1872 (in Butler, 2007) notes: "The font is new one with octagonal bowl." [NB: the church is noted as partly from the Decorated period, partly Perpendicular, but we have no information on the earlier font(s) of this church]
