Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Perp[endicular], on a renewed base. Octagonal bowl with quatrefoils in the panels". Baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with vertical sides decorated with foiled panels, in which a quatrefoil with a floral motif inscribed, the underbowl chamfer decorated with a large floral motif; raised on an octagonal pedestal base; the basin is very worn and damaged, but the base is pristine, either re-tooled [cf. supra] or entirely new. Octagonal wooden cover with raised outer moulding, and knob finial.
