Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Late C14. Octagonal bowl, its panels, bordered with marguerites, containing suspended shields charged with the emblems of the Passion; sait to have come from St Mary, Wotton-under-Edge" [cf. Index entry]. The plain; octagonal stem with a moulding at each end. On an octagonal plinth with kneeling stone. Wooden cover has an old-fashioned locking system, a metal rod across its round surface; original?
