Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Norman circular pedestal with plain octagonal bowl and an attractive C18 wooden cover with flaming urn." The octagonal basin has plain tapering sides; it appears old but it is of difficult dating given the complete lack of ornamentation; the cylindrical base has a moulding at the lower end. The wooden cover is octagonal, with four small 'flaming urns' on alternates sides, and a larger one as finial in the centre
