Noted in Verey & Brooks (1999-2002): "Font. Dec[orated]/Perp[endicular] style, carved and presented in 1858 by William Edwards, the local mason and statuary, who was then churchwarden." The new font consists of an octagonal basin with trefoiled motifs on deeply carved sides, heavy mouldings at both ends of the basin, raised on an octagonal pedestal base with trefoiled arches or windows. Plian flat and round cover; modern. [NB: we have no information of the earlier font dating to -or prior to- the rebuilding of the 15th century]
