Flambard Héricher (2008) notes and illustrates the remnants of what is thought to be the plinth (?) and underground anchorage of the medieval baptismal font of the castle; recent excavations show a circle of limestone blocks around a recess that is believed to be the drainage and anchorage structure that supported the stone font; the font is situated towards the northwest corner of the small nave. The chapel dates chiefly from the 12th and 13th centuries.
